Our Mawgan Porth café is well-loved by visitors and locals for our wonderful waffles, tasty toasties, and revitalising smoothies.
Located on the outskirts of a busy Newquay, our Mawgan Porth café provides you with a haven to enjoy the surrounding beauty all year long.
With a recent upgrade to our original remodelling, we can now provide indoor seating for those infamous Cornish mizzle days as well as roof top seating with magnificent views for sunnier moments. Our usual take-away options are still available if you prefer to eat and drink on the beach or on the go.
Like Polzeath and Harlyn, our Mawgan Porth café is open year-round; so, you can cool off with our cold drinks, homemade gelato, and salads in the summer and warm up post-surf or bracing cliff top walk in the winter with a warm drink; our deluxe hot chocolates are to die for; as are our homemade soups and toasties.
Mawgan Porth, a must visit whilst in North Cornwall is a fantastic beach for all.
Mawgan Porth is a popular surfing and bodyboarding beach being open to the Atlantic swells and is also enjoyable to swim at, with seasonal lifeguard cover to keep you safe. There are lots of rockpools, caves, and a large stream on the southern side of the beach to adventure throughout with your pooch that’s welcome all year round.
If you’re an avid walker there are a selection of routes to choose from. Take the South West Coast Path towards Padstow, passing the legendary Bedruthan Steps, wonder inland towards the idyllic village of St Mawgan-in-Pydar, or head south towards Newquay. There is something for everyone at Mawgan Porth, and we know you’ll love this location as much as we do!
